Stephanie Renee Young is honored to be selected as part of cohort 4 for the FOX Fellowship. She joined Digital Pioneers Academy (DPA) in July 2024 as the Managing Director of Operations after 16 years with KIPP DC. In her role at DPA, Stephanie oversees the operations leaders at their middle and high school campuses, and leads the school's overall operational priorities, including finance and enrollment. DPA will graduate their first class of scholars in 2025 so she is also actively involved in the college planning and matriculation processes. Prior to joining DPA, at KIPP DC Stephanie held multiple roles including teacher, dean, vice principal, and, most recently, high school principal. Stephanie began her career as a middle school math teacher for Buffalo Public Schools, where she was born and raised. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child & Youth Services from Medaille College, followed by a Master’s degree in Adolescence Education from Canisius College and a second Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University. Outside of her professional endeavors, Stephanie is committed to paying it forward, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports.
