A longtime educator who has a passion for capacity building and believes deeply in systems change, Josh is currently a consultant at Transcend Education where he supports key projects related to organizational strategy and design. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Summit Public Schools in California and Washington where he oversaw talent and human resources, home office and school site operations, facilities, and technology. 

Prior to Summit, he led growth strategy and development initiatives at Teach For America and worked as a management consultant at Monitor Group. He started his career as a 3rd and 4th-grade classroom teacher in New York City public schools. 

Josh earned his BA from Yale University, MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Masters in Educational Leadership from The Broad Center.
