Barry was named the Chief Financial Officer for ReGeneration Schools, a charter school network in Chicago, Illinois and Cincinnati, Ohio in 2023. As CFO, Barry provides strategic leadership for the network’s business and finance functions, as well as for the management of its financial and capital resources. Prior to joining ReGeneration Schools, he was the Chief Financial Officer with The Resident Home Corporation, a local non-profit in Cincinnati, and as Controller for the National Center for Families Learning, a national non-profit based in Louisville, Kentucky.

In all, he has worked most of his 28 year Accounting and Finance career in the educational, government, and non-profit sectors. He has been recognized for building strong financial systems in the organizations that he has led. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. Barry continued his education at Mount St. Joseph University, where he received his Master’s of Business Administration and Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership.
